About Don

I carved my first decoy in the seventh grade and won many awards. Some of my well-known teachers were Richard Lemasters and Craig Helmers, both from Central Illinois.

I've hunted and fished and guided from Canada to Argentina since I was a little boy. Later, that became instrumental in creating structural design and problem-solving in the construction industry.

After high school I canoed across Canada, living off the land with my dogs Lover and Quinta, both a Labrador and a German Shepherd, becoming one with God and nature.
