I've taught grandkids, neighbors and a few grown men who were scared of the knife. It's not complicated. It's mostly patience and a sharp edge.
One-on-one at the bench
Half a day in the shop in Tremont. Tools provided, you take home what you start. Best for somebody who wants to actually learn to carve.
Small group demos
Sportsman's clubs, church groups, schools, Ducks Unlimited banquets. I bring work in progress and talk through it.
